Tuesday, July 5th, I am sitting at the Seattle airport waiting to board the plane to Juneau, Alaska.
Never thought I would be going to Alaska unless it was on a cruise ship!
Was thinking about how it is in vogue to make a "bucket list". This trip would not have made my list, not that it would not rank very high but I would not have thought this trip was possible until last year. Therefore, my bucket list will remain unwritten and I will be open to possibilities for new adventures in my life!!
There are so many things I want to learn on this trip!
1. How to set a crab pot! And then get the crabs out and prepared to eat.
2. How to fish! Then learn what fish I like.
3. Electronics of the boat.
4, Other systems of the boat.
5. How to successfully anchor offshore.
Just my immediate thoughts right now!
Thank you, dear husband of (almost) 35 years for always being open to what adventures life has held and will hold in the future. I love you!
